Subjects: Language Arts, Social Studies

Bio: I have been a teacher and instructional coach with LPS since 1994. I enjoy the energy and enthusiasm of middle level students. As a teacher, my passion is for helping students develop a life-long love of reading and develop as writers. With a husband who teaches at Heritage and two kids who attend Franklin, I am a strong believer in the partnership between LPS teachers and families.  I hold a B.A. in history and English from Tufts University and a master's degree from DU in both education and library science.

Subjects: Science, Mathematics.

Education: B.A.-Colorado State University; M.A.- Gifted and Talented from University of Northern Colorado; Elementary Education endorsement from Metropolitan State College.

Bio: As a former student of Euclid, I began teaching middle school in Colorado Springs for six years. My family moved back to the Metro area where I worked ten years with McDonnell Douglas producing marketing materials and training engineers using Computer Aided Design. The marketing branch closed and I found a new challenge with LPS at Mark Hopkins Elementary as a Gifted and Talented Facilitator. Eleven years later I transferred to Euclid where I have taught sixth and seventh graders.
