Role: Occupational Therapist
Education: BS in Biology from Wittenberg University in Springfield, OH; Doctor of Occupational Therapy from Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis, MO
Bio: I am a product of the Littleton Public Schools system, attending Ralph Moody, Euclid and Heritage. After graduating from Heritage, I moved east to attend college and graduate school. Upon finishing my education, I moved to South Carolina with my husband, where I spent 3 ½ years working as a pediatric occupational therapist in a hospital-based setting. While I enjoyed living close to the beach, my heart is really in the mountains! I finally made it back to Colorado this past August, and I am excited to continue my career as an occupational therapist with Littleton Public Schools. I enjoy all the time I spend with the students, and often you will see me walking around the halls carrying the various tools I use for motor skills groups…an extra large ball, hula hoops and bean bags, just to name a few. In my spare time, I enjoy being outdoors and spending time with my family, including my two dogs.

Education: Southern Illinois University: Bachelor of Science in Special Education.
Arizona State University: Master of Science in Public Programs
University of Colorado: Principal Licensure Program (EdS in Education soon)
Bio: Before joining the excellent leaders at Euclid Middle School, I worked in Englewood. I taught 3 years at the elementary level and 4 years at Sinclair Middle School. I also taught for 4 years in Illinois. The most interesting thing I have done is to spend two austral summers in Antarctica. There are no school-aged people in Antarctica, so I didn’t get to teach. Instead, I coordinated passenger travel around Antarctica and to and from Antarctica. I got to spend 24 hours at the South Pole (the highest, driest, windiest place in the world) and that was just enough time for me! While going to Antarctica was a great adventure, I find that teaching 6,7,8 graders to be the second most rewarding adventure there is. What is first? Raising my three children, ages 5, 3, and 3 months.
