THERE IS NO HOMEWORK IN 6TH AND 8TH GRADE COMPUTERS OR 7TH GRADE DIGITAL VIDEO CLASSES.  ALL WORK IS TO BE DONE IN CLASS OR ON A MONDAY OR TUESDAY AFTER SCHOOL.

Students will learn beginning through advanced application skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, Publisher, PowerPoint, Microworlds EX, and Photoshop Elements. Students will continue to learn computer terminology and file management. They will learn appropriate and safe use of the Internet to improve research skills. There will also be an emphasis on keyboarding speed and accuracy. In Digital Graphics students will develop skills in scripting, storyboarding, filming, importing video, editing, and exporting.

Bio:  I have been teaching at Euclid since 2005.  Originally from New Jersey, I am one of 6 brothers, all Eagle Scouts with the Boy Scouts of America. During college, I took some time off to serve as a volunteer representative for 2 years in northern Ohio. I was married in 2006 to my wonderful wife, and in 2009 we welcomed a daughter into our family. My joys in life are my family and learning new technology.

Education: BA in History and Secondary Education from Metro State College, MA in Information and Learning Technologies from CU Denver

Bio: I taught at Middle Level Transitions (Pathways) for two years. This is my 11th year at Euclid. I also coach 8th grade Girls’ basketball and 7th grade Boys’ basketball.
